Everybody’s talking about his intervention with the Spears family. The family should have called a licensed therapist to consult with instead of a television star! It’s okay to get Dr. Phil’s advice on many things, and it’s okay for him to see the opportunity to get ratings for his show.
The housekeeper heard snoring? What she heard was the “death rattle”, confused it with snoring, and allowed the Ledger to die. Death is never easy, even though we know we all must go through it at some point. My heartfelt condolences go out to family.
I love to talk about sex! After all, I am very sexually liberated, open, whatever you want to call it. Let me tell you about some guys. They have absolutely no idea how to please a woman! I’m talking about intelligent men, mature men close to 60 years of age, fathers, grandfathers, etc. They don’t know how to please a woman sexually! I must say I am shocked about this, but I shouldn’t be shocked……this is America! They grew up thinking sex is wrong, one should not talk about nor seek sexual pleasure, but get on top, put it in, come in 5 minutes, and they think that’s good? Hell, no! I know an American couple that’s been together happily unmarried for 22 years. They agree with me that couples have to be sexually compatible. Does anyone know what we mean? Sexual compatibility is a must in order to insure the relationship will be fulfilling, exciting. Many men in this country think if they have size, girth, length, that’s enough. Not enough for me if it only lasts 7 minutes! I need all that the imagination will allow! Foreplay, do you know what that is? Role-playing, erotic situations, fetishes, hotels, etc. Do you get it? If not, consider our last time, the very last time, boring, boring, dead!

I’ve been disillusioned in my years about the voting process in the USA. This time, instead of listening to all this rhetoric, this indoctrination, I will either vote for Barack Obama or Hilliary Clinton. They say Black females are torn between these two and rightfully so! We are tired of looking at listening to these tired-ass white men! So girlfriends, vote for Obama or Clinton (as if it will make a difference).
I recently received a phone call from one of my best friends out West. He was born to be a nurse, is a nurse through and through, down to his bones. He’s leaving the wild wild West and returning to the East. He says the health care system in Arizona sucks! They give suckie care to the patients and charge lots of money. My friend cannot play those games he knows karma all to well, so he will be leaving for Tampa. Hopefully, he will be able to work with fellow nurses and physicians that really care for patients. The male nurse I’m referring to was once the head of one of Grady’s clinics. Please help Grady if you can, we need this hospital in the state of Georgia. Personally, I think he should go into private care. Whoever is lucky to have him as their nurse, will be happy alive or dead. You will be very comfortable. His bedside manner, interest in the entire human being as a whole, his boyish good looks, will help one recover in a hurry!
We are entertainers, not baby-sitters! Be your own child’s role model, not pop stars. Entertainers did not ask to take responsibility for your child! Entertainers do just that………..entertain. It’s on you if you allow your child to believe everything they see and hear on TV. As a child, I idolized Diana Ross. I watched her carefully, putting her moves into what I was doing at that time. I heard about her drug use, her men, but did I do it? Not until I was a grown woman. I considered Ms. Ross a mentor-like figure, while my role models were women in my community such as Marian Armstrong, who gave me a book by Kalil Gibran. Now that’s a role model! Willene Smith, who taught me about the male gender, how to behave as a young lady, how to communicate about sex; Jack Winston, Mrs. Bass, these were women in the black community of Columbus, Georgia during segregation that I looked up to. I don’t want to forget Mildred Allen, another role model, showing me women can be independent and self-sufficient in a time when women were told to stay in the kitchen. How can parents allow their children to make role models out of people they see on TV? You don’t know what kind of life they lead, spiritual, satanistic, etc., who knows? I don’t care how much you read about stars or what may be said in print. You do not know these people!!!!!! Make role models out of people that are in your face everyday; parents, teachers, community leaders, etc. By all means if you see stars everyday, get to know them, and go from there. Whatever anyone can teach you is a good thing.
Everybody’s talking, so I may get in on it. Either Britney Spears is a wack-o, or this is the biggest publicity stunt of the year! Why call Dr. Phil? Look in the phone book for a reputable therapist. However, she has got this dis-ease called the BertelsMan Geebies. I’m sure that’s why she’s freaking out, parents calling Dr. Phil making it really look like a pub stunt.
I recently read a quote made by Christina Aguilera on the Beliefnet site. She says she’s very spiritual and not religious. Her comment was that she donates money to a company that manufactures hearing aids on a regular basis so that more people can hear her sing. “I have a gift from God”, she says. Christina darling, everyone can sing, everyone has gifts from God. What about a baby’s cry? The rustling of the wind? A babbling brook? A thunderstorm? A dog’s whimper? These things are also wonderful to listen to. Nature has beautiful sounds! These things are very spiritual. But everyone develops his or her spirituality the best they can, and at different levels, paces, etc.
