Diary of a Mad Boney

I love all animals, but at the moment i have dogs.  One should always listen to your highest consciousness.  I wanted to work in China, but i cannot take my dog!  China hates dogs!  Do they realize this is the year of the Dog?  China will go down hard for destroying those wonderful magnificent creatures.  Watch it, they are going to suffer.  Now they want American help.  I will never play China, never!  So if you are a Boney M fan from China, and you want to support me in my solo efforts, get the dogs out of the country to France or Germany.  If I find out about any Boney M fan killing dogs, you can forget it, buddy.  Marcia and her husband love dogs as well.  There is a vaccine for rabies and other dis-eases.   I call on the Buddhists in that country to stand up and take responsibility for the lives of those precious, protective creatures.

I’m not sure if I have the correct spelling of these boys’ names, but I’m sure everyone has heard the news!  Two teenaged brothers have committed the ultimate crime!  Animal cruelty is horrible and unnecessary.  These kids should be convicted and sentenced to death for what they did to that puppy.  If these boys get a slap on the wrist, they will continue to commit torture and murder.  This will escalate, and children will be next on their list of evil.

I never blogged this before, but I have seen John Mark Karr before!  When the story first broke, I told a friend that I’ve seen that guy somewhere and it had to be in New York or Atlanta.  Turns out he has relatives near Atlanta!  I am a former member of the Atlanta theater scene and I’m positive I saw him at an audition.  He was so weird that I just stared at him while waiting to be seen.  And boy did he stare at me!

I had the fortune of seeing a wonderful new musical last Sunday at the Liberty Theatre in Columbus, Georgia.   During my childhood, the Liberty was a movie house patronized by the Negro community.  I saw many movies, mostly Elvis movies, getting in free with 6 RC Cola tops every Saturday morning.  This new musical, written by talented Carlton Leake, and starring Ron McCall, was the highlight of my day.  The story was told in many vignettes.  Mr. McCall is a very talented actor, very versatile,  a wonderful singer, and has worked with some talented friends of mine from Hollywood.   Of course my favorite vignette was Low Down, opposite of Down Low.  He was actually telling my story!  I had the dubious task of telling my husband some things!  The music of course was original with stand-outs like Cotton Field Wrath and Behold My Child.  This musical should play again next time to a sold-out crowd.  Carlton Leake is the best and most versatile pianist Columbus has, and certainly should take his place, for he is one of the best in the entire world.
