Pearl Bailey was a gorgeous young woman, and Ethel Waters had great qualities. There were also some beautiful and good actresses in the Oscar Micheaux films. Where is this woman’s head? Thanks so much! It’s good to see that they still value great art and great artists. Unlike the other crap we see on TV, Grace Bumbry, Dave Brubeck, and the others are true artists. Please keep the Kennedy Center Honors pure and do not induct crappy entertainers, who may be good at the crap they do. The crappy entertainers win Grammys, AMAs, etc. To be inducted in the Kennedy Center Honors is a real honor and testament to great artists and great art.

Just wishing Miss Madeleine a happy birthday. Can you believe she’s 57 already? Seems like yesterday she was the toast of Munich always in studio day in and day out; she lived in the studio! She’s still very beautiful and constantly working on tunes for her CD in her own studio in Columbus, Georgia. Can’t wait for that!
I love her! She was absolutely correct regarding Leona Lewis. Leona has a beautiful voice and is a beautiful young lady, but no personality. She is a dead-pan!
